Audubon Nature Institute’s Audubon Studios has its roots in the Institute’s deep pool of talented and experienced creative staff. Starting as a single urban zoological park, Audubon Nature Institute has now grown to ten award winning museums and parks, all in less than twenty years! With the motto, “Celebrating the Wonders of Nature”, New Orleans residents and visitors alike have enjoyed and embraced the many educational and cultural experiences that are now available to your guests through the creative talents of Audubon Studios.

Introducing Our Newest Creation: Audubon Insectarium
Building on our legacy and experience with one of the world’s most recognized zoological parks, the design team of Audubon Studios is proud to bring you its newest creation, Audubon Insectarium. The insectarium is dedicated to the enjoyment and understanding of over 900,000 insects and their closest relatives. This facility opened on June 13, 2008, is the largest of its kind in the United States, and gives every visitor a unique and interactive encounter with nature.

Audubon Nature Institute’s Touring Exhibits bloomed from it’s increased growth and pool of talented staff. One part education, one, part entertainment with a dash of humor and topped with a conservation message, our touring galleries appeal to all ages. Every exhibit is “turn key” and includes signage, interactives, enclosures, and the live animals to thrill your audience.
Our own staff cultures many of the exhibit animals and all our animals are chosen for their durability and exhibit presence. Training, educational materials, husbandry and technical manuals are also included with every exhibit.

 Audubon Studios, in concert with Technifex, a world-class show and special effects producer, have jointly produced the Awards Night Theater. This sophisticated multisensory theater presentation is a 4-D experiential theater that pokes, prods, spritz’s, buzzes and shakes guests while teaching them about the wonders of the insect world.
From concept through film and hardware production, the team of Audubon Studios and Technifex are able to create a 4-D experience for any venue, incorporating up to 13 distinct effects into each seat, as well as a multitude of overhead show and effects systems.
Let us create your awards show or any theme you can imagine! 4D theaters from 40 seats to over 600 seats!
